December 18: Earth Activation Ritual
Yule is held on the shortest day and longest night of the year and celebrates the return of the sun god as he begins growing in strength until the day of the summer solstice. It is also the pagan holiday associated with earth.
Because the months become cold and inhospitable and our beloved soil and grass and trees live under snow and ice, we often begin to feel disconnected from the earth's energy. It is important to find ways to maintain a sense of connection in order that we can remain grounded, stable, protected and well.
In this class we will hold a ritual designed to activate earth energy that we may carry with us during the winter months.
